Hearing Evaluations

Hearing Assessment. This is for an annual hearing check to know Your hearing status.

This assessment offers offers a hearing mechanism evaluation where the audiologist will visually inspect how your ear looks, run evaluations to check if there may be an infection in your ear and administer audiometry to evaluate what levels you are hearing at. What to expect in the session: this is a 30 minute screening session that will involve you sharing some of your medical history with the audiologist then you will undergo the screening evaluations. The audiologist will then explain all the results and you can ask questions on all screening findings.

Hearing Assessment (Advanced). This is for anyone with some concerns about their hearing, experiencing some other symptoms like ear ache/ringing in the ear needing a hearing check to know their hearing status.

The audiologist will explain all the results and you will both discuss next steps depending on your needs.

Ear care and Wax Management. This is for anyone struggling with wax blockage or needs foreign body removal in their ear.

The audiologist will administer a video analysis of your ear to determine required ear care and wax management service. For foreign body removal and wax cleaning the audiologist will use specialised tools to ensure appropriate care and will show you how your ear looks thereafter. In cases where there is hard wax or a foreign body is stuck, the audiologist may refer you for wax softening then offer wax removal once wax has softened to avoid pain and hurting your ears. Where necessary a consultation with an ENT specialist may be recommended.

Hearing Aid Assessment. This is for anyone already diagnosed with a hearing loss and looking for assistive hearing and listening technology

To assess your hearing aid candidacy, the audiologist will review your most recent Comprehensive Diagnostic evaluation to determine your current hearing status, facilitate a hearing aid questionnaire to determine your needs in a hearing device and recommend a few devices for you to trial with leading hearing aid technology manufacturers. What to expect in the session: this is a 60 minute evaluation that will involve you sharing some of your medical history with the audiologist, you will undergo all the diagnostic evaluations (should you not already have a recent evaluation report) and you will discuss hearing aid options depending on your needs. You will be given an option to trial multiple devices until you find the one that works for your needs.

Device Cleaning, Troubleshooting & Repairs. This is for individuals already fitted with hearing devices and or accessories that need some servicing, basic maintenance or a clean.

The audiologist will assess you devices and determine the needed service needs which can be a basic troubleshooting, a cleaning, a reprogramming or booking your device for a service with the manufacturer. If your device is booked for a service, the audiologist will facilitate all bookings, courier and communication with the manufacturer. You will be contacted when the device is ready to be returned to you.

Custom Hearing Devices. This is for individuals needing customised devices to suit their specific needs.

Once ready, you will be contacted for fitting by the audiologist to ensure comfort and suitability of function in line with your needs. Custom In-Ear Devices. This is for for the sound mixer, artist, instrumentalist, performer and all round sonic lover looking for custom superior sound quality experience.

What to expect in the session: This is a 30 minute session where the audiologist will examine your outer ear using a video analysis to show you how your ear looks before an after the moulding process, run a complimentary hearing screening test and then use custom moulding material to create the shape of your ears. I took my 4 year old for ear cleaning last week and I must say I was beyond pleased with the experience I had, My son was soo excited when we went back home, he kept on saying "the Dr was very nice Mommy, take me to her when I have flue too😂😂" She was very patient, engaged my son in a fun way to get him interested in the treatment which made him very relaxed, The technology she uses also allows the parent to also see what is happening which was very interesting.....I give 10/10 for the service and will definitely be bringing the entire family🌺🌺🌺
